In our quest to discover new immune support strategies, help has come from an unlikely place: NAC & quercetin. Renewed interest has uncovered strong ties to the immune system, which is why Wellness N-A-Cetin™ Immune Protocol offers these ingredients in abundance. Taken daily or at the start of an immune imbalance, Wellness N-A-Cetin™ Immune Protocol delivers seven powerhouse ingredients for crucial immune defense.*
NAC’s well-known antioxidant benefits have been linked to a healthy inflammatory response in lung tissue, and studies show that quercetin and bromelain, typically known for seasonal health, also support a healthy inflammatory response. Combine this with the undisputed immune benefits of zinc and vitamins C & D3, and you have a triple action formula that targets the healthy respiratory, immune, and inflammatory responses that are critical in tough times.*^
Key ingredients in Wellness N-A-Cetin™ Immune Protocol include quercetin, NAC, bromelain, zinc, vitamins C & D3, and copper.
NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) is a more stable form of the sulfur amino acid L-cysteine and is a powerful cysteine and glutathione precursor. As a precursor to glutathione—one of the most important antioxidants produced by the body—cysteine provides potent support to balance free radicals. NAC’s well-known antioxidant benefits have been linked to a healthy inflammatory response in lung tissue.*^
In terms of immune support, quercetin is an exciting newcomer to the scientific community. Previously, it was renowned for its antioxidant and cellular support. It’s now a triple threat, as preliminary evidence indicates that it supports a healthy inflammatory response, participates in healthy cytokine modulation, and works with other nutrients to support healthy gene expression necessary for immune system activity.*^
Wellness N-A-Cetin™ Immune Protocol is manufactured by Threshold® Enterprises at our facility in Scotts Valley, CA, which manufactures under the Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) established by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
As a part of our commitment to quality, we do several forms of testing at our in-house Quality Control Lab, including botany, morphology, microscopy, high performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry (LC-MS), spectrophotometric methods (UV-Vis, FTIR), testing for microbial contamination, and other standard scientific methods.
Every ingredient is also tested in-house for heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury) via state-of-the-art inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). All of our products meet federal and state regulatory limitations for these heavy metals. This is to ensure our customers receive only the highest-quality ingredients.
